One
of the mainstays of Provizion First Architecture’s portfolio is
the individual house market. Over the years, we have served a considerable
number of private clients, on a wide range of ‘one-off’
houses, conversions, extensions and restorations. Below are detailed
just two examples of our work in this field.
Detached
Dwelling, North Yorkshire
Set in over 5 acres of beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, with extensive
views over the Green Belt, this seven bedroom detached dwelling was
designed in close collaboration with our clients in order to meet their
particular requirements in respect of both internal layout and external
appearance. Originally designed and built as a 6300 sq.ft, 5 bedroom
house, the property has recently been extended to turn it into the 9650
sq.ft., 7 bedroom dwelling that now exists.
Two
Detached Houses, Baildon, West Yorkshire
This project involved the design and construction of two individual
house for the co-directors of a local firm of building contractors.
Whilst the difficult plot is in an established residential area, permission
to build was only secured after protracted negotiations with the local
planning authority over siting, scale and choice of external materials.
The resulting development of slate grey roofs, crisp white through-colour
rendered walls, natural timber windows and doors, copper and aluminium
features and natural drystone boundary walls successfully complements
the street scene.
