Bingley Grammar School, Bingley

Bingley Grammar School has a long tradition, stemming from its foundation in 1529, when a series of benefactors from among the people of Bingley provided a trust to support the education of the young people of the town.

Due to constant pressure to provide additional space for the ever-increasing number of pupils, the School has developed its own character over the years by a series of alterations, conversions and extensions to the core buildings and now occupies a considerable area of land.

Since 2002, Provizion First Architecture has completed numerous projects for Bingley Grammar School, including the conversion of two classrooms to science laboratories, the construction of two classrooms and an office above the new laboratories, upgrading the sixth form suite to create a new common room and bistro area, alteration and extension of the reception area and management suite, revamping the dining hall, upgrading and refurbishing the drama suite etc.
