For
many years, Provizion First Architecture has been involved with creating
and developing rural projects such as calf-rearing units, garden centres,
farm shops, farm buildings etc.
Calf
Rearing Units, Monk Fryston
This project
involved the erection of 4 buildings for use as calf rearing units and
2 buildings to be used for the storage of food for the calves. The 6
no. 41m x 15m buildings were erected in pairs, each pair being linked
with a roof to provide a covered walkway between. The steel framed buildings
are clad with 2m high concrete panels below 2.5m high plastic coated
wire netting. The roof, gable ends and top 1m of each building are clad
in natural coloured fibrous cement cladding.
Victoria
Garden Centre, Snydale
Bought by
our clients as Victoria Nurseries, the site has developed over the years
into the large scale, purpose-built, complex known as Victoria Garden
Centre, Snydale, Wakefield. As well as a main shopping hall, the development
has a extensive outdoor display area, a 200 seat café and the
largest pet and aquatic centre in the region.
